Introduction: One-stop purchasing 一站式采购 英文

One-stop purchasing refers to a service or business model where customers can find and purchase all the products or services they need in one place. This eliminates the need to go to multiple vendors or suppliers. It simplifies the purchasing process by offering a wide range of related items or services, making the experience more convenient and efficient for the customer.

In the context of business or manufacturing, it often means that a supplier provides all necessary components or services related to a particular project or product. For example, in a one-stop purchasing scenario for curtain tracks and motors, a company might offer everything from design, customization, manufacturing, to installation, so the customer doesn’t have to deal with multiple suppliers.

Key Benefits:

  1. Convenience: Customers can save time by purchasing all related products from a single source.
  2. Cost-Efficiency: It can reduce logistics and coordination costs.
  3. Streamlined Processes: A single vendor takes responsibility for the entire supply chain, ensuring smoother operations.

This approach is particularly valued in industries that deal with complex systems or multiple components, such as construction, technology, or manufacturing.

Ha, a solo adventure in Europe? I’m about to embark on a two-week business trip to Europe, curious about the interesting stories that might unfold.

  • It’s my first time attempting a solo business trip to Europe (5 days at a trade show, 8 days visiting clients, across 4 locations).
  • This means I’ll be managing hotel bookings on my own, haha (for the 5 nights in Stuttgart, I’ve found a nice homestay; I’ll see how it is when I get there).
  • It’s also my first time renting and driving a car in Germany (though I’ve done road trips in the USA before, I hope everything goes smoothly in Germany).
  • To be continued…

Preparation Before Going Abroad

Here’s a reliable checklist to follow before going abroad:

  1. Documents and Tickets:
    • R+T Exhibition Tickets
    • Rental Car Documents
    • Driver’s License Translation (needs to be processed in advance)
    • Insurance Policy
    • Original Driver’s License
    • Itinerary (Very important. In Europe, each time I entered a new country, I was asked about my itinerary and whether I had a return ticket. Showing them a paper copy always quickly resolved these inquiries)
    • Plane Tickets
    • Visa
    • Passport
    • ID Card 🔸 It’s advisable to scan or photocopy these documents in case of loss
  2. Currency Preparation:
    • International Credit Cards, such as Visa, MasterCard
    • 300 Euros in cash for a 12-day trip 🔹 Exchange small amounts of money in advance for tips
    • Remember to exchange currency before departure; it’s more expensive at Shekou Port (1:8.5) and even more so at Hong Kong Airport (1:9)
  3. Electronics:
    • Portable Wi-Fi
    • Tablet
    • Laptop
    • Local SIM Card
    • Charging Cables
    • Photographic Paper (I didn’t use it last time; I suggest not bringing it next time, haha)
    • Camera
    • Universal Adapter
    • Headphones, including iFLYTEK and Sony
    • Translator Device
    • Power Bank (no more than 20,000 mAh)
  4. Clothing:
    • 🔸 Spring (March-May): Light sweaters, T-shirts + Jackets
    • 🔹 Summer (June-August): Short sleeves; bring a light jacket for cooler mornings and evenings
    • 🔸 Autumn (September-November): Jackets + Thicker fleece clothes
    • 🔹 Winter (December-February): Wear windproof and warm jackets outdoors
  5. Medications:
    • 🔸 Cold medicine, Diarrhea medicine, Motion sickness medicine, Vitamins, Anti-inflammatory drugs, Antibiotics, Allergy medication
    • (Actually, you don’t need to bring so many medicines. Just bring what you feel is necessary, otherwise there won’t be enough space in your luggage, and overweight luggage starts at a 40 Euro fee)
  6. Toiletries and Accessories:
    • Disposable cups
    • Umbrella
    • Sunscreen
    • Masks
    • U-shaped neck pillow for sleeping
    • Portable bags
    • Camera tripod
    • Sunglasses
    • Makeup remover
    • Skincare and cosmetic products
    • Clothes hangers
    • Slippers and towels
    • Toothbrush and toothpaste
    • Pillowcase
    • Eye mask
  7. Essential Apps for Overseas Travel:
    • 🔸 Accommodation Booking: Hostelworld, Airbnb, Booking.com
    • 🔹 Travel Guides: TripAdvisor
    • 🔸 Food Search: Yelp
    • 🔹 Language Translation: Google Translate, iFLYTEK Multilingual Translator
    • 🔸 Car Rental for Travel: Priceline, Ctrip
    • 🔹 Travel Maps: Lonely Planet
    • 🔸 Transportation Apps: Uber, Bolt (Taxi Apps)
    • 🔹 Flight Booking: Ctrip
    • 🔸 And most importantly: Google Maps!
  8. Packing for the Flight:
    • Liquid Regulations:
      • Capacity Limit: Containers for liquids, gels, and sprays typically must not exceed 100 milliliters (or equivalent in other volume units like 3.4 ounces). Containers over 100 ml are not permitted in carry-on baggage, even if they are not full.
      • Transparent Bag: All liquid containers must be placed in a resealable transparent plastic bag, usually not exceeding 1 liter in capacity.
      • Per-Person Limit: Each passenger is allowed only one such transparent bag (not exceeding 1 liter).
      • Security Screening: The transparent bag with liquids must be presented separately during security checks.
      • Special Items: Prescription medicine, baby food, or breast milk, and other medically necessary liquids may be allowed over the 100 ml limit, but may require declaration and additional screening at security.
      • Duty-Free Liquids: Liquids purchased at airport duty-free shops, like alcoholic beverages and perfumes, are typically allowed over the 100 ml limit but must be sealed in a secure, transparent bag, with a visible receipt.
      • Checked Baggage: Bottles can typically exceed 100 ml if checked in, but it’s advisable to prepare as if they can’t.

Ah hahaha, I had a very fulfilling week.
Work hard and study hard. So tonight, I can completely indulge in the freedom of my Post! (Recording life, hahaha)

After working continuously for 5 days and sleeping in the office (working until 1-2 am), followed by two days of consecutive classes, I spent a very rich and pleasant weekend of learning.

Pic 1⃣: Had some work at the company on Saturday, delayed until after 4 pm to reach the center, then met Ting, Xiaoxi, and Xing. (Hahaha, I received messages from Xiaoxi and Xing early, asking if I had a share in the afternoon. Haha, I said no, no sharing)

Pic 2⃣: Congratulations to Secretary Huang for winning first place. (While I was outside, I heard classmates from the Mingyue class tell me that they thought the secretary was good and voted for him.) Haha, the secretary even gave me his flowers! Haha, happy!

Pic 3⃣: Then I met Yin Zhe, who came over to say hi, telling me he watches my live broadcasts, which are very healing. Ah hahaha, really? I would feel very warm and happy hearing that.

Pic 4⃣: Unexpectedly received a handmade lighthouse gift from Jin Chen during his self-introduction. I love it because, if you’ve noticed, every article on my public account and blog has a concept of a lighthouse looking into the distance. And coincidentally, blue is the cultural color of our company. Haha, I really like it!

Pic 5⃣: Ended the day by going to the singing bowl project in the parent-child swimming pool opened by Kaifan in Yifang City. I probably fell asleep within 3-5 minutes, sleeping very soundly.

Pic 6⃣: Today I spent the whole day in class in Guangzhou and received super considerate care from the big warm guy Jian Sheng, who gave each of us a drink (one of the warm guy projects, haha). Look at his silhouette when he handed out the drinks, waving his sleeve without taking… Haha

Pic 7⃣8⃣: It turns out that even after growing up and graduating, you can still often take classes with friends you know from society. It’s such a good experience! Meeting frequently to create and learn together! And today I unexpectedly met friends from other foreign trade circles! No agreement, just appeared at the venue together! They are very friendly people, so happy! 🥳 Hahaha

Pic 9⃣: Ah hahaha, I finally drove back to Shenzhen from Guangzhou!!

INAMORI KAZUO once said, “There is a spirit in the place”

INAMORI KAZUO once said, “There is a spirit in the place”. Today, I led a small team to measure the windows in three buildings. We went building by building, floor by floor, feeling the process of measuring all day long. Many insights and details were recorded.

Although our feet were exhausted, the freshly washed car was covered in dust, and even our hair had turned stiff, I still believe in that saying: “There is a Spirit in The Place.”
On the way back, I asked my assistant how she felt. It was her first time experiencing this, and I inquired if she was tired. She said, “Yes, it’s tiring, but the rewards are worth it.”
We measured the world, both with our feet and our minds.

In-depth research in one area

Haha, and here’s another thing: I’ve had this realization for a while now. Whether it’s pursuing a Master’s or a Ph.D., it all involves in-depth research and learning in a specific field. In a way, diving deep into a work field is a similar endeavor. Today, let’s consider it as if I’m conducting scientific research data in the realm of window curtain blinds and sunshades, working on projects and running tests. Hahaha!

Here’s the situation: Last week, out of the blue, I received a message from Ben saying he had a project coming to Guangdong this week. So, we scheduled a meeting.

After discussing it, we finalized the plan for a three-way collision meeting with Kenson, Tracy, and Ben!

I had been eagerly looking forward to this for days.

August 17, 2023: 10:30 AM, Tracy stood at the office doorway and turned her head. Not far from the entrance, a figure appeared, carrying a bunch of food and walking in. As soon as I saw him, I burst into a smile. It was Ben!

This was my first in-person meeting with Ben, but I felt an instant sense of closeness.

We received Yunnan fresh flower cakes that Ben had brought all the way from afar.

Listening to how Ben went through the ordeal of having his luggage searched at the airport (because it was oversized for the flight), and then carrying a bunch of gifts all the way to Guangdong, just to bring presents for us, his friends from Guangdong. (Even imagining the scene made me feel sympathetic.)

Ben said, “The importance of the friendship isn’t in the flower itself, but in the process of going through hardships to pick that flower. That process gives the flower 99% of its significance.”

Haha, yes, I wholeheartedly accepted this flower cake, which is full of such heartfelt sentiment.

Then, as we enjoyed our food and drinks and chatted, Kenson walked in through the door. Haha, Kenson!

We truly spent the entire day chatting about everything under the sun.

Two big boys making noise and laughter in the office.

At the sight of alphabet stickers, Ben’s creativity surged, and he put together “Kenson is cool.” (There was no letter ‘O,’ so he used ‘D’ as a substitute 😆)

You see, this is the new brand that Ben and I co-created—Currtain. Yes, it was born:

One on the left and one on the right, the protection of two great male gods—haha, today I was the little sister protected by two men~~

Afternoon’s stormy brainstorming session.

Haha, the sentiment and stubbornness of middle-aged men—how fitting.

The three of us kept colliding and diverging in all sorts of ways, caring less about themes and rhythms, just letting the conversation flow wherever it wanted to.

The most important thing is having you both by my side, which naturally gives me a sense of security and joy.

Our understanding and childlike playfulness, our ability to dive deep into shared topics at any moment (thanks to the accumulation of professional projects), it’s all so effortless and genuine.

Simple and pure.

In the evening, a dilemma arose whether to go for the Chaoshan beef hot pot suggested by Kenson or the steak suggested by Tracy. This left Ben in a bit of a predicament.

Haha, in the end, we chose to go to the Bahe Li Beef Chaoshan Hot Pot restaurant. Interestingly, every time I go there, it’s always with very close friends—never a coincidence. This time was no different, and I felt delighted by this kind of fateful connection. ❤

As Kenson had to catch the last high-speed train, he left a bit earlier.

After the hot pot dinner, Kenson had already departed to catch the last high-speed train.

Ben and I suddenly thought of visiting the nearby bookstore (Shenzhen Book City · Longgang City) for a stroll. However, when we arrived, the bookstore was about to close. So, we rushed in at the last moment and had to leave immediately.

But unexpectedly, I received a book from Ben right there—a book titled “The Alchemist.” He said that after our conversation, he felt like giving me this book.

Alright, I’m definitely going to read it!

Before leaving, we also visited a stationery store and I got two calligraphy brushes. Hehe, happy, I love it.

About the story of Ben, Kenson, and me:

During an event last September, the awesome Kenson kept recommending Ben to me, and I initially ignored Ben since I was young and didn’t pay much attention, focusing on another friend.

However, due to Kenson’s persistent recommendations, I finally listened to him attentively and suddenly realized I might have missed something important.

Later, after the event, I added Ben on WeChat and read his introduction. In that moment, it was like our hearts clicked together.

I liked this person, and I wanted him for my project.

Interesting and soulful, a sense of familiarity. This kind of heart connection can only be understood and not easily explained.

During the hot pot dinner, we also talked about how we both maintain a childlike innocence. This rarity is perhaps why we immediately got along and connected.

Big thanks to these two amazing guys, it was a day of continuous care. They’ve taken good care of me on regular days as well. Keep it up, guys!

This blog www.tracyxc.com exists thanks to Ben and Kenson.
